About the Spotted Dog in Cold Ash

Originally a blacksmith & forge since the mid 1800’s, the site has evolved with various alterations to become what is now known as The Spotted Dog Pub.

In the late 1800’s it was owned by Mr Marshall who was a local builder & beer retailer & similarly the current landlord, Stewart Luker, is also a local builder.
